Backpack Drive

Hundreds of Foster Children need your help to start their school year off just like their peers with a NEW Backpack and School Supplies. 

Foster A Dream is thrilled to continue our Back-to-School Backpack Program by being a part of Volunteers of America’s 1st Annual Operation Backpack Program in the Bay Area!Together, our goal is to provide filled backpacks to hundreds of foster youth in the Bay Area. The 2013 Operation Backpack Program runs July 8th to July 26th.

Year after year, YOU take up the charge and give children in our community the tools to help them achieve academic success.

Making a difference is as easy as 1-2-3.

 

1.  Donate a New Backpack filled with School Supplies

  • Download the donation form & school supply list here

  • Purchase a new backpack and supplies on list

  • Bring the backpack to our office or a listed drop off location at operationbackpackbayarea.org 

2.  Host A Backpack Drive

  • Gather your family, friends, co-workers or church members and host your own backpack drive. Download the forms and distribute them in the community. You can be the drop-off location and then bring the donations you receive to Foster A Dream.

3.  No Time To Shop

  • You’re too busy to shop? That’s ok, you can still make a difference by donating online and we will do the shopping for you!
